Yard Work!

Wow who ever said spring meant time to lay back and relax! Around here it means keeping up with the yard, golf holes, pond, aronia plantings, flowers and the weeds!

We've just begun a new venture this spring. We have planted 300 Aronia plants which should produce wonderful anti-oxidant rich berries in three years. The first round of bare root plants now are doing well (when the deer leave them alone) with 300 more to be planted in the fall. I can't begin to tell you how excited we were when the first leaves appeared. Two plants even have produced little blooms!

The organic nature and high ORAC value of the aronias make them a perfect fit for our healthy lifestyle and future!
